Paris Review: Happy Hour with Gian
Here’s a photo I shot of writer, John Haskell, for The Paris Review. It was written by my friend Giancarlo DiTrapano who is founder and editor of The New York Tyrant.
I highly recommend if you’re in the San Diego area next week. Wish I was.
“Pacific Standard Time is a collaboration of more than 60 cultural institutions across Southern California coming together to celebrate the birth of the L.A. art scene. Through the exhibitions of Pacific Standard Time , you can discover how the Southland became a great center for art and culture.” – from PST exhibition guide.

Wow, Vol. 3 No.3, must be the magic issue! New York Tyrant is a lit mag published by my longtime friend, Giancarlo DiTrapano. Gian’s boyfriend, Chris March, did the makeup and wardrobe and I shot the photos.
I’d recommend becoming acquainted with this publication, it’s got amazing writers. And who doesn’t love the short story? In addition to the Tyrant, Gian publishes the longer form under Tyrant Books as well as writing for VICE and other quality publications both online and in print.
Enjoy!
